Between the Côte Fleurie and the Pays d’Auge, Deauville is a colourful seaside resort which owes its international reputation both to the luxury and refinement of its attractions (casino, villas, hippodrome) and the elegance of the events it hosts throughout the year (Festival of American Cinema, international triathlon, polo tournament, horse races...).

Night or day, the elegantly lit Deauville casino is the second largest in France with a wide range of games. If you do not play, you can always go to see a show in the little Italian theatre, watch a film in the cinema or eat out at one of the three restaurants.

Immortalised in Claude Lelouch's film "A Man and a Woman", Deauville beach is a favourite early morning location for race horses, where they can take advantage of the virtues of sea water. It is also the meeting point for holiday-makers who come to discover the famous boardwalk built in 1923.
Deauville municipal port is 300 metres from Place Morny. It has two basins: Morny Basin and the Yachts Basin. Almost 400 boats are moored there throughout the year and there is mooring space for 60 visitors. On the town side, the Deauville Yacht Club and the sailing school run along the side of the basin. The Yacht Club organises 15 regattas every year.
